Human Design is an incredibly specific way to learn more about your personality, emotions and how you interact with the world and those in it.
Much like astrology, Human Design is a system based on your exact time, date, and place of birth and it provides you with your energetic blueprint.
It is essentially a mix of Astrology, The Chakra System, Kabbalah, I'Ching, Myers-Briggs, biochemistry and genetics, all in one.
It has helped me to understand myself better and how to best use my energy and navigate life. Self-awareness is such a powerful tool and I am so excited to share this empowering knowledge with you.

The definition of astrology is “the study of the movements and relative positions of celestial bodies interpreted as having an influence on human affairs and the natural world”.
It is a system based on your exact time, date, and place of birth and it provides you with your natal chart.
This can tell you numerous things about yourself, from your personality, light/shadow traits, wounds, emotions, and relationships to money, home, career, etc.
It has helped me to become more self-aware and compassionate towards myself, as well as how to best navigate life, my interactions with others, and live in sync with the natural cycles and energy of the universe.

There are many similarities and the human design system does use astrology. The ways I like to use both systems are:
Human Design shows you how to best use your energy and navigate the world and others in it based on your energy type, authority, and strategy (among other things). It affirms and gives you the permission you might need to just be you, perfect as you are. It illuminates where conditioning from the world or others may have shifted you away from the path to your true self. The way human design presents information about you is radically different from any other system out there and I find it to be extremely accurate and affirming for my clients.
Astrology offers us an in-depth look at many aspects of your life. I have studied evolutionary and psychological astrology so my focus is on illuminating your true self, helping you to become more self-aware, affirming parts of yourself that you’ve known deep down, looking at childhood, your soul’s evolution, and guiding you through the energy of the planets’ cycles.
Both systems offer a beautiful guide to your unique energy and I like to flag that you always have the freedom of choice and change and you can be whoever you choose to be. These systems are simply a guide to help you on your journey of self-discovery and self-actualisation.

You can attend once or ongoing, the choice is yours!
I offer online and in-person options.

Restorative Yoga is a gentle yoga practice where multiple props are used to support the body during a pose so it can relax and restore. Think of an even more gentle and relaxing experience than a Yin Yoga class!
The intention is to cultivate a sense of ease and comfort so that the body and mind can experience deep restorative rest.
It is yoga for the body, the nervous system, the mind, and the spirit.
Appropriate for every body and every experience level.

Restorative Yoga provides practitioners of yoga with deep and supported rest of the body, nervous system, mind and spirit.
Fatigue, stress, overwhelm and anxiety can all be associated with a chronic illness. Restorative Yoga and meditation offer us a reprieve from our daily struggles and encourage our nervous systems to relax into a state of ‘rest and digest’ (parasympathetic nervous system) - the state where our body’s natural healing processes take place.
It is not a ‘cure’ but an important tool to help manage our physical and mental health and well-being.
-
Yin Yoga has its roots in Daoism/Taoism and Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.
Long-held stretches of muscle and connective tissue allow Qi (vital energy) to flow through our meridians (energy channels) freely. Certain organs and emotions will be targeted and working with the seasons can also be a focus.
It can help with flexibility, relaxation, and tension release.
Props are used to facilitate moving more safely and deeply into poses.

Meditation is a practice in which an individual uses specific techniques to focus attention and awareness.
Techniques may include breathing (pranayama), visualisation, focus on an object or intention, progressive muscle relaxation, mantra or mindfulness, to name a few.
In my classes, I like to weave in the above, meditations from various traditions as well as invite in Restorative Yoga poses or Qi Gong.
Students have said they leave feeling calm, peaceful, rested, and restored.
